Priority 1 

To accelerate rates of progress in writing, by improving the teaching of spelling, so that outcomes are above national averages for all year groups. To continue to embed and develop a well-structured spelling programme across the school to ensure that the teaching of spelling meets the needs of all learners.

Priority 2 

Raise standards in Mathematics, by for example; ensuring task design is appropriate for all learners and assessment for learning principles are established and consistently applied in every year group

Priority 3 

Ensure that all adults are deployed effectively and additional adults are trained in effective teaching strategies to enable them to identify and address pupil misconceptions promptly during lessons

Priority 4 

To undertake a rigorous, evidence-based evaluation of the school’s current strengths and areas for development against the SIAMS framework, ensuring leaders, governors and staff have a shared and accurate understanding of the school’s Christian vision and its impact, in order to be fully prepared for a SIAMS inspection.
